Anita Hamilton, CPA
Leading HORNE’s tax practice for the state of Tennessee, Anita is a partner in the Jackson, TN, office and is involved in all aspects of the Firm’s tax practice. Licensed to practice in Tennessee, Anita has more than 15 years of public accounting experience, the last four years of which have been with HORNE.
She primarily provides services in federal and state tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and non-profit entities. She also has experience in real estate tax law and the accompanying tax ramifications. Anita works closely with clients who need multi-state taxation assistance. She assists closely-held businesses and individuals with complex areas of tax law including entity structuring and resolving difficult tax controversies with state and federal agencies. Anita provides comprehensive tax and other personal financial consulting services to high net worth individuals and family groups. Extensive experience in estates and trusts positions Anita to provide estate planning and guidance regarding compliance with government filings. In addition, she also provides retirement planning consulting services.
Anita earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Union University.
