Kay H. Mortimer
Kay serves as business development manager for HORNE in the Jackson, MS, office, where she is responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for HORNE’S Mississippi Economic Unit.
She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, management and human resources. A published author and former management consultant with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) in Dallas, TX, Kay has served as assistant dean and instructor in the graduate business program at nationally recognized Millsaps College, worked as a bureau director with a major state agency in Mississippi, and managed her own human resource consulting practice. Prior to joining HORNE, she was responsible for marketing and admissions at a local independent school.
Kay holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts from Stephens College.
