Beverly Pogue, CPA/ABV
Beverly serves HORNE LLP as a manager in the Fraud, Forensic & Litigation Services practice. She provides case analysis, expert report preparation, and trial preparation for a wide variety of litigation cases including lost profits, breach of contract, and embezzlement.
Since joining HORNE in 2002, Beverly has worked in various valuation and litigation support roles including general business valuation, valuations of health care entities and health care related assets, calculation of lost profits and lender liability. Representative valuation engagements have included divorce, shareholder disputes, lender liability, business damage allegations merger and acquisition, business planning, estate planning, probate, charitable contributions of closely held stock, bank core deposits, and eminent domain proceedings. Prior to joining HORNE, Beverly was employed in the life insurance industry as an actuary, working in the financial reporting area.
Beverly received her bachelor's of science degree from Mississippi University for Women and her Master of Accountancy from Millsaps College. She is a licensed CPA in Mississippi and earned the designation of Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
