Julie Martin
As a senior manager in the Jackson, MS, office of HORNE LLP, Julie provides a variety of services to health care clients including third party reimbursement, cost report preparation and consulting, as well as other general advisory services.
Julie has more than 15 years of experience in the health care industry. She began her career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi as a Medicare auditor. She then went to work for Crowell, Hart and Company, Ltd. specializing in Medicare and Medicaid cost report preparation and general consulting. Prior to joining HORNE in 2003, Julie worked for HCA, Inc. in Dallas, TX, where she was responsible for reimbursement issues of three hospitals including Medicare and Medicaid cost report preparation, internal audits, external audits and third party balance sheet reconciliations.
Julie graduated from Mississippi State University where she received her Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree.
