Allen Poole, CPA
Allen serves HORNE LLP as the director of tax services from the Firm’s Memphis, TN, office. Allen provides federal, state and local income tax services to financial institutions as well as other industries such as manufacturing, service and retail in both publicly-traded and privately held companies.
Prior to joining HORNE in 2008, Allen worked as senior vice president of federal taxes at a large regional publicly-traded financial institution where he was responsible for federal and multi-state income tax returns, planning, income tax accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and managing federal and state income tax examinations. In addition, Allen spent 12 years in Memphis with an international accounting firm serving financial institutions and other clients in a variety of industries.
Allen received both a bachelor’s and a master’s of professional accountancy from Mississippi State University and is a licensed CPA in the State of Tennessee.
