In the current environment, many pension funds have drastically changed their investment portfolios. These changes can lead to increased risk associated with these new investments, especially surrounding investments with which the auditor may not be familiar. This presentation discusses the some of the risks and best practices surrounding governance and controls over investments and fair value accounting. Ann serves as a partner in assurance services and is the firmwide director of risk management services.
