Hospital-Physician Integration

As a result of the current uncertainty regarding health care reform, hospital-physician integration is becoming increasingly common. Unlike the hospital-physician integration surge in the 1990's, today's hospital acquisitions are often larger, more complex, and more risky. Though the reasons to integrate vary, the overall goal of hospital-physician integration is to better the cost efficiency and effectiveness of health care delivery to patients.
