Rural Health Care—What About the Future?
This course will take a look at rural health care in the State of Louisiana. Fast facts about LA rural providers will be presented including financial challenges on the horizon. Factors influencing the future such as revenue reaching the flattening of the production curve, demographic and population shifts along with sections of the PPACA legislation will be reviewed within a framework of opportunities and challenges for rural providers.
