Health Care Services Partner David Williams will address the characteristics, roles and responsibilities of the value added CFO.  This presentation includes a management checklist addressing topics such as financial plan development and communication, capital allocation, budget sheet management, and reporting versus informing.

David Williams has more than 25 years of experience and currently serves HORNE as the leader of health care reimbursement and advisory services. David provides health care assurance services and  reimbursement and advisory services for a wide range of organizations including hospitals, outpatient centers, home health care agencies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centers, rural health clinics and mental rehabilitation centers.

David is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and serves on their National Board of Examiners, the editorial review board for HFM Journal, and serves on the HFMA Region 9 Conference Committee.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants where he is a member of the Health Care Services Committee.
