Chuck is a manager in specialty accounting services at HORNE LLP. He is engaged in a state-funded Public Assistance project and is responsible for financial oversight of federal Public Assistance funds requested by government and not-for-profit sub-grantees. He reviews pay requests submitted to the state emergency management agency to ensure compliance with federal and state policy.
He joined HORNE in 2002 and has more than 10 years of public accounting experience. Prior to joining HORNE, Chuck was an Officer in the United States Navy. Later, he was a residential/resort property manager and project manager during recovery and rebuilding efforts following hurricanes Hugo and Marilyn in the United States Virgin Islands.
Chuck earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and received a Master of Accountancy degree from Millsaps College.
