Debbie is a manager in specialty accounting at HORNE LLP. She is currently working on a state-funded public assistance project where she is responsible for the financial oversight and disbursement of federal public assistance funds requested by government and not-for-profit sub-grantees for reimbursement on disaster recovery projects. She works directly with the sub-grantees and state and federal officials to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Debbie joined the firm as an associate in 2006. Prior to her work with HORNE, she worked in the medical financial services field.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi.
