Julie serves as a senior manager in health care services for HORNE LLP. She provides a variety of services to health care clients including third-party reimbursement, cost report preparation and consulting, as well as other general advisory services.
Julie joined HORNE in 2003 and has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. Her career experience includes working as a Medicare auditor at a contracted carrier and intermediary services provider. She worked for a local accounting firm and specialized in Medicare and Medicaid cost report preparation and general consulting. She has also worked for a national health care management company as a reimbursement coordinator dealing with Medicare and Medicaid cost report preparation, internal audits, external audits and third-party balance sheet reconciliations for four hospitals.
Julie graduated from Mississippi State University where she received her Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree. She is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional.
