Lori is a senior manager in health care services at HORNE LLP. Her primary responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient billing and coding, performing coding reviews and conducting billing and coding seminars for physicians, clinical staff, administrative support staff, acute care facilities, inpatient psychiatric facilities and inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Lori also performs charge master assessment and charge master maintenance consulting focused on performance improvement.  She also has experience in physician practices where she analyzes and reengineers work processes.

Lori joined HORNE in 1999 and has more than 10 years of health care experience. Lori served as the installations coordinator at a national medical software firm in Nashville, TN, where she was responsible for the planning, implementation and training for software installations in acute care and mental health facilities.

Lori holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has served as an advisor to the University of Mississippi Medical Center's Health Information Management program where she assisted in setting the curriculum for junior and senior HIM students.
