Mickey is a senior manager in the Memphis, TN, office specializing in business accounting and consulting for health care clients. He serves for-profit and non-profit clients by providing real time financial information, reducing costs associated with business operations, and streamlining their accounting processes. He provides business advisory services in the areas of startups, mergers and dissolutions, outsourced accounting, compensation modeling, industry benchmarking, contract CFO, and distressed business restructuring.
Mickey joined HORNE in 2007 and has more than 15 years of public and private accounting experience. He served as controller of a non-profit healthcare organization and the chief financial officer of a for-profit service related business. Mickey was also selected to act as the interim chief financial officer for a medical-related company that filed Chapter 11 and needed immediate accounting and financial reporting to the U.S. Trustee and other third parties. At HORNE, Mickey helped to develop an accounting outsourcing department.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Union University and is licensed to practice public accounting in Tennessee and Mississippi.
