Rud is a health care partner in the Hattiesburg, MS, office of HORNE LLP where his primary focus is the valuation of health care entities and health care transactions. He works with members of HORNE's health care services team providing a variety of fair market value consulting services to health care systems, attorneys and physician groups. Rud is also a member of HORNE's personnel committee.
Rud joined HORNE in 2004. He has performed numerous health care valuations including those of long-term acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, home health care agencies and medical practices. In addition, he has valued lease agreements, physician compensation, as well as other health care related assets including intangibles and medical equipment. He also has experience in litigation support services and has worked directly with attorneys in several cases involving the calculation of damages in both health care and non-health care related matters.
Rud earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University and a Master of Accounting degree from Tulane University.
