Sam is a manager in specialty accounting at HORNE LLP. He is currently part of the MEMA Recovery Accounting team in Biloxi, MS working to provide accounting oversight for the MEMA Public Assistance program. Sam works as a liaison between the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and the sub-grantees to resolve any issues that may arise in the initial project review or final inspection process. He works closely with project analysts and reviewers to provide feedback from the final inspection process to assist in streamlining the process. Sam also works with MEMA as an applicant to assist in preparing projects for funding and final inspection in accordance with the Stafford Act.
Sam joined HORNE in February 2006.
He earned his Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Business Administration with an emphasis in MIS and accounting.
